Vashon’s 1st Annual Play Day on May 26, 2012 from 10-2pm at Agren Park. FREE for all ages; co-sponsored by the Vashon Park District.
Join us for a morning of pure fun and play some of our best loved nature-based field games that promise to delight your senses and inspire lots of laughter!!
Our deep nature connection programs revitalize children’s dormant senses and restore our human connection with nature. We are proud to be a part of a growing movement in the United States that recognizes immersion in nature and unstructured play outside as essential for children’s health and well-being.
Play Day is 25 years old in the U.K where it is a national day of celebrating children’s right to play and the important role of play in children’s lives. Help VWP start a new trend, or inspire you to start one in your own community!

Forge & Feast with VWP!
Join artisans Drew Middlebrooks (Smithy) and Leah Gerrard (Chef) for a day to nourish your body and soul.
Learn the art and skills of blacksmithing and share two gourmet meals handcrafted from local food with friends old and new.
June 9th or June 10th – you choose!
Proceeds will benefit the VWP Scholarship Fund.
