We welcome all sincere students regardless of how they identify. Please contact us with any questions.

Gifts of Winter: Tending the Fire Within

Circle around our sacred hearth, in communion with a group of women, to balance rest and play, create beauty with our hands, and weave stories and songs – ours and the Earth’s – for deep reflection and intentional attunement with the rhythm of the land. Experience rejuvenation that flows from sourcing your internal fire/light in the darkness of winter.

  • Awakening Body. Learn powerful practices to awaken, enliven, and nourish your body through stillness and play. Sense Meditation, Sit Spot, and playful sensory awareness games will all help you cultivate a deeper awareness of patterns and cycles in nature – yours and the Earth’s – and help you understand your place in the community of all beings.
  • Opening Heart. Listen to nature-based story, participate in reflective journaling, and share your experiences through story, song, and movement. Pathways into the heart of yourself are supported by connections with the moist winter Earth, warm fires, dark night skies, and the slow, soothing embrace of winter.
  • Cultivating Community. Raise your voice in song, share your thoughts and feelings in sacred council, laugh, play, share food and tea, make beauty from nature with your hands, and be witnessed by our sacred circle. We hope you leave feeling nourished and fed by our time together, as well as take away more tools for your own basket of nature connection.

Gifts of Summer: Celebrating Body/Earth

Gather with other women in a sacred circle as we open our senses to the delights of the land, source our body’s wisdom, and awaken our ancient relationship with plant intelligence. With the land overflowing in summer’s abundance, we’ll enjoy a truly nourishing experience, in which we cultivate deeper joy, harmony, and well-being for ourselves and with the Earth.

  • Body Intelligence. Learn somatic movement practices to experience your body from the inside out. Enliven conscious connection with sensation and begin to weave the living wisdom of your cells with the intelligence of life around you. Experience a sense of peace and well-being in the present moment.
  • Plant Intelligence. Engage with Mugwort, St. John’s Wort, Rose, Yarrow, and other plants in the fullness of their life cycle with all your senses activated. Learn to attune to the green beings and interpret their “language.” Discover what these plant allies reveal about your timeless connection to your inner self and the landscape.
  • Plant Craft. Learn a protocol and practice for engaging with a plant and their essential nature to create a vibrant and more potent food and medicine. Harvest a plant or several for making a plant spirit extract, and co-create with the plants as our imagination and the season suggests.
  • Solo Time in Nature. Cultivate a simple practice for “being” in nature, with all your senses activated.
  • Ceremony, Story, and Song. Create sacred circle and enliven your authentic voice through nature-based story and song.
